Marili loves taking pictures, loves how the light plays a subject and loves telling a story through her camera’s lens.
Photography has taken Marili to places she would have never seen, introduced her to people she would have never met, and fulfilled her in ways she couldn’t have imagined.
Many people have asked if she always wanted to be a photographer? The answer is no, she wanted to be an artist, but couldn’t draw! Marili studied at Rochester Institute of Technology and landed in NYC after graduation, fumbling her way through a series of assisting jobs and often wondering if she had made the right career decision. However, the patience and inspiration of great mentors gave her the courage to stay with it. She now finds herself blessed with an amazing career that she truly loves.
She currently lives in Brooklyn and is the proud mother of Danielle and Max.
