Growing up in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, Michael Dwornik preferred looking through the lens of a camera to reading the words in a history book. The city offered a diverse perspective and a constant stimulus.
Michael started shooting in high school and has not put the camera down since. At the age of 17, he apprenticed under an elderly gentleman (who had taught photography in New York City since the 1950’s), teaching him the processes of black and white photography and color printing. Michael's edge and vision have added a unique slant to a long list of editorial and advertising clients.
Today, after years of traveling the world, he has happily settled downwith his wife and son in New York City.
